Blizzardy

It's officially a blizzard out there, and we ventured out into it to let the dogs out. Or in other words, to let the husky frolic joyfully and the dachshund muddle through the drifts like a turtle in molasses with his tiny, short little legs and his giant sausage body.

We went out to run a few errands. We bundled her up in her cozy car seat cover. She was sleepy. She's awfully pretty when she's sleepy.

Goodbye, Awesome Tree

Today was the last full day with our awesome tree. This was our first real Christmas tree together. No more of that plastic nonsense. It looks pretty darn good if you ask me, and seeing as how it went up just a few days before Christmas, I don't think the end of January is too late for it to come down. We'll miss you, our fine needled friend!

Out to Eat

We went out to eat (Buffalo Wild Wings, nom!) and Peanut got to see her uncle. She loves him.

Happy Raisin Baby

My peanut was very stylin' yesterday while enjoying her pear oatmeal cereal. She was pumped about it, too. The bib was a gift from a friend's mom, whose Etsy shop has lots of cute goodies. Go check it out!

My Favorite Janxmas Present

Janxmas = Christmas in January.

My awesome niece, Karleigh gave me that sweet fishy painting on the right side of the photo. She made it in school and I love it! I can't wait to frame it, but for now it makes a beautiful addition to my sewing room wall art!
